SEN Teaching Assistant

TEACHING ASSISTANT – ROCHDALE – FULL TIME

A large modern academy school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted are currently seeking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join the school in November for a long term position. The Teaching Assistant must have previous experience in a similar role supporting young people and be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 or group basis as they assist them with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related.

-          Full time position as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis

-          Working at a large modern secondary school in Rochdale graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted

-          Get paid a weekly wage of up to GBP75 a day, dependent on experience

-          Further development opportunities through additional CPD courses

Whilst working as a Teaching Assistant at our client school in Rochdale you will be required to take on multiple responsibilities as you support the classroom teacher in planning, delivering and marking of lesson plans, as well as supporting pupils with any additional needs they may have, whether this is 1:1 support outside the classroom or assisting in the delivery of extra curricular activities and after school clubs.
