Join Us as an SEN Teaching Assistant!
Location: Dorset, Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch.
Hours: Full-time & Part-time Positions
Start Date: March 2026
Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 who have additional learning needs.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Helping the class teacher deliver engaging, tailored activities.

Encouraging children’s independence, confidence, and social development.

Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Tracking progress and celebrating achievements big and small!
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children (SEN experience is a bonus but not essential).

A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.

Great communication skills and the ability to adapt to individual needs.

Reliability and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
