On behalf of the SENCO at a mainstream secondary school, Teaching Personnel are recruiting a specialist to work 1:1 with a student transitioning for a SEN school in September 2020. This student requires social, emotional and academic support in their lessons and the teachers at this school are welcoming and helpful.
This role is full time and to start in September and would be suitable for candidates with support worker experience and teaching assistant or learning mentor experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience supporting young adults and/or children
- Be a caring and supportive individual who sets clear boundaries
- Build strong rapport with students and staff and have an engaging and exciting approach to learning
- Be flexible, committed and reliable
- Have a DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one details below
From Teaching Personnel as a Specialist Teaching Assistant you will receive:
- Competitive rates of pay reflective of what is expected for the position

Earn GBP300 - GBP325 per week. Teaching Personnel offer WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment.
In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.
