Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant

(Ad-hoc Supply with Potential for Long-Term Role)

We are currently seeking a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on an ad-hoc supply basis, with plenty of potential for this to develop into a longer-term position.

Role details:

  • Position: Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Start: Ad-hoc supply initially, with opportunity for longer-term work
  • Pay: £13–£14 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: As required during the school day

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Be able to provide strong, verifiable references to support their experience
  • Hold a current DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
  • Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting young children to thrive
  • Work effectively as part of a friendly and professional school team

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to join a welcoming infant school with the potential for more regular and long-term work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
