SEN Teaching Assistant

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a leading and award-winning SEN school group as a SEN Teaching Assistant at their growing site in Norfolk. Renowned for their outstanding provision, inclusive values, and child-centred approach, this group is expanding and looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to support their mission.
The school provides specialist education for children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The role of a Teaching Assistant is integral to the delivery of tailored, high-quality support that enables pupils to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with special educational needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering creative and differentiated lessons
- Support students’ emotional regulation and behavioural development
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- A calm, patient, and resilient nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting the development of children with additional needs
- Right to work in the UK (this school group cannot offer sponsorship)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
