Job Title: Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Milton Keynes (Countryside)

Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in our tranquil countryside setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, providing tailored assistance to enable students to thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support primary school students with special educational needs in a countryside environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
  • Work closely with other support staff and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative team and school culture.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
