SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Milton Keynes
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
CPD Training Available

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team as soon as possible.

About the Role:

You will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their potential. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you’ll provide tailored support to ensure every child receives the best possible learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals

  • Promote inclusion and a positive learning environment throughout the school

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential

  • A patient, caring and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
