SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistants needed to work in secondary schools across Greater Manchester to work with students that require additional support to ensure they are achieving their maximum potential throughout their school life.

As a special educational needs support assistant you will be working with students that have moderate learning difficulties in areas such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, Social emotional mental health and behaviour. The role of an SEN teaching assistant is varied and can involve working with multiple students on a small group and 1:1 basis.

Teaching Personnel provide flexible, temporary and permanent opportunities for teaching assistants so if you are coming to the end of a contract or looking to transfer into the education support sector we welcome your application. Although previous experience of working with young people or in schools is desirable it is by no means an essential criteria. You will be part of a special educational needs department that works together to ensure the best possible provision for their students.
