SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour

A warm, inclusive primary school in Croxteth (L12) is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from March 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive, child‑focused environment.
About the Role:
You’ll work alongside class teachers and the SENCo to deliver personalised support for pupils with a range of additional needs. The role includes 1:1 work and small‑group interventions, helping children access learning, build confidence and develop essential skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children with SEN in school or care settings
- A calm, empathetic and positive approach
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Desirable qualifications: Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or SEN‑specific training
