Are you looking for a new challenge within education? Have you got experience with SEN or support work?
Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an outstanding school in Bristol! This resource base is for students with moderate learning difficulties, supporting small classes with a hands on, fun approach to learning. Some students also require personal care support as they have additional medical needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils with SEND and ALN, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities
- Build a trusting relationship with all pupils
- Promote inclusion and acceptance, support diversity and ensure pupils have equal access to learning and development
- Undertake administrative tasks as needed
- Under the guidance of teaching staff, provide feedback to pupils, parents and carers about their progress, achievements and any problems that may have arisen
- Promote good behaviour and encourage pupils to take accountability for their actions
- Support the pupils with computer technology to access learning activities and assist them to develop competent usage
- Prepare, maintain, and use learning resources and assist pupils to use them.
- Assist with pupil supervision, including before and after school and in break times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
