Full-Time Early Years SEN Practitioner – Level 3 CACHE Qualified
Location: South Harrow, London
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications


Are you a passionate and nurturing childcare professional with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a Level 3 CACHE-qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and inclusive early years setting in South Harrow this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting young children with additional needs and helping them flourish in a supportive, play-based environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for children with SEN, including those with autism, speech & language delays, and developmental challenges

  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities

  • Work closely with the SENCO, Room Leader, and parents to deliver tailored support

  • Maintain accurate observations and contribute to EHCPs and IEPs

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in line with safeguarding and EYFS guidelines

  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment that supports each child’s unique needs


Requirements:

  • Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification)

  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs in an early years setting

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • Excellent communication, patience, and organisational skills

  • A genuine passion for early childhood development and inclusion

  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
