Are you a compassionate, dedicated teacher who believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to join our nurturing and inclusive primary school community in Gateshead.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised teaching to pupils with a range of additional needs – including ASD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. Your work will be central to helping children develop not just academically, but emotionally and socially.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children with SEN
  • Deep understanding of EHCPs, adaptive teaching strategies, and inclusive practice
  • Passion for helping every child reach their full potential
  • Patience, creativity, and a good sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
