Location: Farnborough
Setting: Specialist SEN Provision (Ages 4–16)
Role: Learning Support Assistant
Pay: £14.25 per hour

A welcoming specialist SEN school in Farnborough is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people with Autism and MLD/SLD.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where small class sizes and strong staff support allow for personalised learning and meaningful progress for every pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with learning, communication, and daily classroom activities

  • Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs

  • Help maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • School or specialist setting experience (desirable)

A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is required, or applicants must be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
