Behaviour Management Specialist – SEN Support | Year 4 | East Grinstead
Location: East Grinstead
Full-Time | Long-Term | Starting September 2025
£89–£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and confident in managing behaviour positively and effectively? We're looking for a dedicated Behaviour Management Specialist to join a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead, supporting Year 4 pupils with SEN from September 2025.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact—helping pupils build emotional resilience, develop positive behaviours, and succeed academically.
Your Responsibilities:

Implement consistent and fair behaviour strategies in line with the school’s policy

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to Year 4 pupils with SEN

Deliver behaviour and emotional regulation interventions
-
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create and review personalised behaviour support plans

Support the wider school community in promoting a calm and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a Behaviour Support or SEN-focused role

Strong grasp of SEN-related behaviour management techniques
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Calm, proactive, and adaptable approach to challenges

Knowledge of the UK education system and SEN practices (advantageous)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
