Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to reach their full potential?


Teaching Personnel are working with a number of specialist SEN schools in the Horsham and Crawley area who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated teams.

You’ll be supporting pupils aged 5–16 with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
We’re looking for patient, resilient individuals who can build strong relationships and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting SEN/SEMH learners (school, residential or care setting)

  • A calm and nurturing approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
