An outstanding and expanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their welcoming team in Cheshire. Working closely with experienced educators and therapists, SEN Teaching Assistants will support pupils with a range of learning difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across various age groups
- Assist with implementing individual education and care plans
- Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour management strategies
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external professionals
- Help to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in any setting)
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and follow direction
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK – this school group cannot offer sponsorship

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
