Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Catforth, PR4

Full-time | ASAP start 

Teaching Personnel are supporting a friendly primary school in Catforth (PR4) who are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

About the Role

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
  • Assist with tailored learning activities and classroom routines.
  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

About You

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND (school or similar setting).
  • Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • TA qualification is helpful but not essential.
