Cover Supervisor 

Location: Leyland
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible/Ad-Hoc (Agency basis)

Teaching Personnel are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work on an ad hoc, agency basis in a specialist educational SEMH setting in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within education, whether you are an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or someone considering a future career in teaching.

The Role:

  • Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Supporting students to stay on task with their work

  • Reporting back on student progress and any issues

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, or similar)

  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour

  • Be adaptable, proactive, and reliable

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Be comfortable working in a specialist/SEN setting (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
