SEN Teaching Assistant – Supporting Deaf Children | Cambridge | Term Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work term-time only in a mainstream primary school in Cambridge, supporting deaf children in their learning and development.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners by helping to create an inclusive and empowering classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous professional or personal experience working with SEN children.

• Hold a valid Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).

• Have the passion and drive to work with children – MUST.

• Be able to use their own initiative and be proactive – MUST.

• British Sign Language (BSL) skills are desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
