Job description

Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) | 9am - 1pm, Monday to Friday | Mainstream Primary School | Via Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school setting? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school team on a part-time basis.

Role:

  • Support children with SEN to access the curriculum and thrive in a mainstream primary classroom

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs

  • Assist with personal care duties as required, demonstrating sensitivity and respect

  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm (part-time)
Possibility of extended hours later in the academic year

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting SEN children within a school environment

  • Comfortable with and willing to undertake personal care responsibilities

  • Reliable, patient, and adaptable

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
