Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Roles – Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch

Teaching Personnel is now recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for the 2025/2026 academic year – offering part-time roles for current students and full-time positions for graduates.

We accept applications year-round, but applying early in the academic year helps you build a strong relationship with our partner schools from the start.

Our partner schools across Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch are inclusive, supportive environments where every child is valued. You’ll be working alongside dedicated staff to support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining practical experience in education, psychology, or youth work.

  • Choose between primary and secondary school placements

  • Work part-time during term time, with full-time options available in holidays or academic breaks

  • Typical shifts are 6 to 6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

  • Hourly pay ensures fair compensation for every hour worked

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
