SEN Teaching Assistant

Bournemouth & Surrounding Areas | ⏰ Full-Time & Part-Time Available | Immediate & September Starts


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social-emotional difficulties)

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils engage, progress and succeed

  • Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and lesson delivery

  • Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment


Who We’re Looking For:

  • Individuals with experience supporting children with SEN (in school or care-based settings)

  • Flexible, patient and nurturing personalities who love helping others

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential – personality and passion go a long way!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
