SEN Teaching Assistant – Part-Time Position – Bournemouth

Inspire and Support Learners with Additional Needs

A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bournemouth is currently seeking a dedicated part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 11 to 16 who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social or emotional barriers to learning.

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social and emotional development of students.

Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals, you will help implement learning plans, encourage positive behaviours, and build trusting relationships that empower students to succeed.

This is a part-time role with working hours from 8.30am to 4.00pm, giving you a great work-life balance while making a difference in young lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
