Teaching Personnel is recruiting a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in BL4, Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence and academic progress.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

• Experience working with children or young people (education, care, coaching or support work is desirable)
• A positive, resilient and compassionate attitude
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
