Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
- Providing individualised support to students who require extra assistance
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to SEN support
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective team player
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different types of SEN and appropriate support strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in SEN support
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily takes place within a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for occasional additional hours or activities outside normal school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
