SEN Teaching Assistant - Blackpool (FY4)
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackpool (FY4).
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with previous school-based experience and a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in the FY4 area of Blackpool that is looking to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience working within a school setting.
- Has experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs.
- Is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
