SEN Teaching Assistant – Huddersfield (HD5)

Daily Rate: £90–£105/day | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools and specialist provisions in Huddersfield.

The Role:

• Support pupils with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.

• Assist with behaviour management, communication, and personal care.

• Work closely with teachers and SENCo to deliver tailored learning.

Requirements:

• SEN or care experience (school, youth work, residential, or similar).

• Moving & Handling and personal care experience essential.

• Team Teach/Makaton desirable.

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
