SEN Teaching assistant - Enfield

We are currently recruiting an experienced SEN teaching assistant to work in a special needs school in Enfield.

For this role I am looking for a SEN teaching assistant who has experience working with students in a SEN setting. For this role you will be working with students in KS1-KS2 with autistic pupils at the low end of the spectrum.

Each classroom contains a mixture of pupils with autism, Down syndrome, physical disabilities and students with visual and hearing impairments. The school believes students with different learning difficulties interact well with each other as they are not grouped based on their needs.

About the school:

The school have ten classrooms and have recently added a state of the art sensory room. Each classroom have 8 pupils per class with the classroom teacher and an additional three teaching assistants to support. All students in the classroom have a statement of special educational needs.
