SEN Teaching assistant - Bury
- Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 children with SEN and SEMH needs?
- Do you want to work in a mainstream primary school helping children access the national curriculum?
A lovely primary school situated in Whitefield (M45), Bury is currently seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant starting on the 2nd September 2019. The school has a specialised Autism unit and is looking for a teaching assistant with SEN experience to work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils across the EYFS through the Key Stage 2.
The Idea candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH issues.
- Previously worked with KS1 and 2 classes.
- Experience leading small groups and 1:1 interventions.
- A nurturing and patient attitude with commitment to working for the full year.
