Teaching assistant work available at two moderate learning difficulties special needs schools based in the London borough of Bromley - Hayes and Swanley
If you are looking for work in September and would like to be a teaching assistant for an SEN school providing tailored education for secondary aged students with autism and other moderate learning difficulties, I would like to hear from you!
- Daily supply work at both schools available from September 2019
- Potential to secure a regular part time or full time role in one school
- Class sizes are small - maximum of 10 in each class
- Daily pay rate between £60 and £80, dependent on experience
- Suitable for graduates or more experienced staff
- Most students can communicate verbally, but you must have an understanding of the social and emotional difficulties that students with autism face, and be able to support them accordingly
- Ability to use PECs with non-verbal students would be beneficial
- Work is term time only, Monday-Friday, 08:30am-16:00pm
