Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support | Bridport

Start Date: After October Half Term
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Role: Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support
Contract: Full-time / Long-term opportunity

Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential?

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bridport and become part of an amazing, supportive team.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual support to a pupil, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence and make progress both academically and socially.

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship
  • Support learning and classroom activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence and engagement
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider support team
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people
  • Is patient, caring and enthusiastic
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils
  • Is confident working as part of a team
  • Is committed to supporting every child to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
