The Role

As a Teaching Assistant within the SEN Hub, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, development and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage positively with learning
• Supporting children with a range of SEN needs
• Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff and the wider school team
• Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills
• Providing a calm, positive and nurturing presence throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

• Experienced working with children or young people
• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEN
• Patient, caring and understanding
• Confident working on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils
• A strong team player with a proactive approach
• Looking for either a permanent role or flexible supply work

Previous experience within an SEN setting would be advantageous, although we would also be interested in hearing from candidates with relevant transferable experience.
