SEN Learning Mentor required at a school in BD7.
A mainstream Primary School in Bradford BD7, are currently looking for a learning mentor to support pupils across the primary age range with varying Special Educational Needs.
The School is located in BD7 just a drive away from the M606 route and local transport links. The school are graded as Good by Ofsted in 2016 and are looking for Learning Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. The role will require working with pupils with SEN and therefore the applicants apply must have recent experience.
All applicants must have an NVQ or CACHE Level 2/3 or an education based degree
The school are looking for a: * Strong Teaching Assistant with experience in a school based environment * Experience working with children with challenging behaviour and SEN * Full time starting as soon as possible (with the opportunity to go permanent) * Team Teach trained or willing to do the training through Teaching Personnel
The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and have roughly 454 pupils and 13% SEN pupils in school. Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
