Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Primary Schools)
Locations: Mainstream Primary Schools (various)
Part-Time & Full-Time Roles Available
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support to pupils in mainstream primary schools.
What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with children who require additional support to access the curriculum.

Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to ensure each child can thrive.

Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
What we’re looking for:
-
Experience working with SEN is essential (professional or personal).
-
Resilience, patience, and a positive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
-
Experience within a classroom setting is desirable, but not essential – training can be provided.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ideal for:

Residential care workers looking to transition into a rewarding career in education.

Psychology graduates eager to apply their skills and knowledge in a school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
