SEN teaching assistant for full academic year 2018/2019

Teaching Personnel have been asked to recruit a vibrant SEN teaching assistant for our partner secondary school in Wythenshawe, Manchester. Due to an increased intake of students who have learning support needs for the new academic year the school are looking to appoint a full time teaching assistant for a full academic year ASAP.

Ideally If you have worked in an educational setting or have experience working with students who need supporting in areas of moderate learning difficulties, social emotional mental health, behaviour, autism and ADHD, then is would be valuable to the role. Applications are also welcome from graduates with a related degree or people with work experience in the fields of health and social care, youth work or sports coaching.

SEN teaching assistant is a highly rewarding job role providing tremendous satisfaction as you have the ability to enhance a young student's school experience and help them reach their highest potential possible. Opportunity to increase teaching strengths with a supportive SEN department where there will be regular training course and self development.

Location is in the M23 post code of Manchester. The school can be accessed via motorway Just off M56 and M60 or by the well connected links between trams and buses.

Highlights of this SEN Teaching Assistant post;

**Pay ranging from ÂŁ275-ÂŁ375 per week

**Full time position with employment for the full academic year

**potential to earn a school based contract

**Working with students on a small group and 1:1 basis

**Ongoing training courses and CPD opportunities

Essential criteria for the role;

**Relevant work based or educational experience with SEN students

**Suitable references from work or educational history

** A fully enhanced DBS certificate to Start ASAP

**Ability to adapt to students with Empathetic and patient personality
