Due to expansion and a new influx of children, an open vacancy has come available for a Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant at a "Good" two form entry primary school in Bolton (BL1). The school are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their small specialist class that is made up of 5 pupils in Key Stage 1 who have MLD, including Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. This position will be working alongside two other qualified teaching assistants, where you will be breaking down set classwork into manageable sections and constantly making sure pupils fully understand the task in hand. The school have highlighted that due to these pupils' requirements, they are seeking an individual who can constantly encourage and motivate them, meaning you must have an upbeat and nurturing approach.
