Due to expansion and a new influx of children, an open vacancy has come available for a Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant at a "Good" two form entry primary school in Bolton (BL1). The school are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their small specialist class that is made up of 5 pupils in Key Stage 1 who have MLD, including Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. This Bolton Primary School has been praised for their balance of nurturing children to create an environment where children are respectful and achieve their goals. A highly dedicated and driven Senior Leadership and Inclusion team mean that the school always encourage all children to achieve their personal and academic potential. This position will be working alongside two other qualified teaching assistants, where you will be breaking down set classwork into manageable sections and constantly making sure pupils fully understand the task in hand. The school have highlighted that due to these pupils' requirements, they are seeking an individual who can constantly encourage and motivate them, meaning you must have an upbeat and nurturing approach.

  • Must have a nurturing and encouraging approach at all times.

The school are looking to appoint the incoming Teaching Assistant ASAP and will be conducting trial days.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
