SEN Teacher – Slough
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our committed teaching team in Slough. The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that enables every learner to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities Include:

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Setting clear learning objectives and using a range of teaching strategies to engage and support pupils.

Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure effective support and intervention.

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, keeping accurate records, and reporting regularly to parents and carers.

Contributing to the wider life of the school and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with experience teaching pupils with SEN (experience within an SEN or mainstream setting will be considered).

Passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting all learners.

Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with strong behaviour management skills.
-
Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
-
Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
