Year 6 Class Teacher – Full-Time Role (Not Maternity Cover)

Bracknell | Start: Mid-November 2025 | Ongoing Role | KS2

Are you a confident and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity?

We’re working with a supportive and well-established primary school in Bracknell seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from mid-November 2025. This is a full-time, ongoing position — not a maternity cover — and could lead to a permanent post for the right candidate.

The Role:

You will be teaching a Year 6 class, leading pupils through an important year in their primary education. The role includes full classroom responsibilities — planning, teaching, assessing and preparing pupils for SATs and transition to secondary school.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative leadership team, and have access to excellent resources and ongoing professional development.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong experience in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Good understanding of the KS2 national curriculum & SATs preparation
  • Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
  • A commitment to high standards and pupil progress

What the School Offers:

  • A welcoming and inclusive school community
  • Supportive SLT and experienced teaching team
  • Excellent CPD opportunities
  • Competitive daily or long-term pay rates (depending on experience)
  • Potential for permanent appointment
