SEN Teacher, Lancashire
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of Lancashire based SEN Schools who all provide support and education for pupils with additional needs who are not in mainstream education. The Schools are generally smaller than mainstream education and generally speaking the class sizes are under 10 per class. The Schools are always looking to recruit additional teachers to deliver a range of lessons on a supply basis. Often, shorter term supply positions will lead to longer term roles, if not permanent.
The Schools are based all over Lancashire and we recruit specifically for the Preston, Chorley, Blackburn, Burnley, Rawtenstall and Leyland areas. Ideally the candidate will hold a valid UK driving licence as we do expect that you travel to a number of different Schools within a 15 mile radius. The Schools will likely provide the work for the supply teacher, especially if it's a short term role but you may be expected to plan work for long term positions.
The candidate suited to this role will hold a teaching qualification, have experience working with children with SEN and challenging behaviours and be willing to deliver a range of lessons.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN
If this role sounds ideal for you please do not hesitate to contact Kirsten on 01772 842155 or email with your CV and covering letter.
