The successful SEN English Teacher will:

Our Hampshire SEN Branch are currently working exclusively with an outstanding provision in the  Portsmouth area and we are looking for experienced SEN Teachers to join our growing team this year. The position is to work with children who have various learning difficulties and are working through specialised curriculum.

About the role

As an SEN English Teacher, you will support the  pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. The school do offer bespoke educational plans for each pupil, so successful candidates will be required to adapt their teaching to each individual pupil.

Requirements

This position will be extremely challenging but rewarding. Attending pupils will demonstrate a variety of needs including: Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Visual and/or Hearing Impairments (VI/HI) and Physical difficulties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
