We are currently recruiting for a Teacher for an all age primary school rated as ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2017 and is ASC accredited. This Catholic school caters for pupils aged 5-19 with additional special needs and communication difficulties including autism.

The ideal candidate would be a Teacher who has:

• QTS
• Experience of working with Autism
• A passion and dedication for working with children
• A strong and warm personality

The school prides itself on its ability to track and improve the progress of its pupils with the help of excellent teachers and teaching assistants. With support of committed and educated staff, the school’s aims are to support individual pupils maximize their communication skills, improve their ability to access the national curriculum and to get the most from the general educational, social and spiritual life of the school.

Your role would be to create lessons to meet the learners needs. This would include a curriculum based around academic and social progression. You would create lessons aimed to allow the young people to express themselves in a practical and easy way, as well as design tasks to help the young people succeed in their lives beyond the school.

The school is located in Stretford in Trafford and has excellent travel links by bus, tram and train Personnel.

In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
