We are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher who is passionate and who can lead a class of up to 8 pupils all of which have 1:1 support. We need someone who has in depth and working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition and Special Educational Needs, to work in a Key Stage 2 class.
You will have access and support to excellent resources and experience that you can call upon to make your career and teaching a success. The school provide a high quality learning environment and deliver an exciting and innovative curriculum which meets the needs of all pupils. The school is based in a major town in Greater Manchester, south east of the city centre and is easily accessed via public transport, there is also a free Metro Shuttle bus which links the bus and rail services to the town centre.
The school are looking for a Teacher who will create outstanding lessons for individuals and small groups of children, ensuring a person centred approach that is functional and relevant to the curriculum. You will lead on the planning, assessment and resourcing of at least one curriculum area, to ensure that resources and activities to support learning are well maintained.
Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.
The school require on and off support throughout the year depending on student intake and staffing needs, so there is always opportunity for contract extension and permanent roles for staff who are a great asset to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
