Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking adaptable and committed SEN Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of schools in Somerset.

About the Role:
As an SEN Secondary Supply Teacher, you’ll be working across schools in Somerset, providing essential support to students with a range of special educational needs. These may include autism spectrum conditions (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
Your role will involve stepping into classrooms on a short-term or longer-term basis, delivering pre-prepared lessons or adapting content to suit the needs of the learners. You’ll be expected to quickly build rapport with students and staff, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to SEN students across secondary age groups
- Follow school policies and plans while adapting to individual student needs
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Liaise with support staff where appropriate
- Provide feedback to the school on student progress and classroom experience
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN students in a secondary setting
- Strong behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
Working Hours/Benefits:
- Full time, part time and flexible availability applicants will be considered for this role

- 12.07% Holiday Pay

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
