SEN Teachers Wanted – Portsmouth | Start ASAP

Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a range of supportive schools across Portsmouth seeking dedicated teachers to start as soon as possible.

Location: Portsmouth
Position: SEN Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)

The Role:

You will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. The role involves delivering tailored, engaging lessons and creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
  • Support individual learning needs and EHCP targets
  • Monitor progress and maintain records
  • Work closely with support staff and parents
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • QTS (essential)
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
