 We are currently looking for a Teacher to work in an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ The school caters for young people aged 11-18 with arange of learning difficulties and additional needs and boasts of an incredible environment where the positivity and enthusiasms of both the pupils and teachers is highlighted by external organisations. The school is looking for someone who: Has QTS Can challenge the most able pupils Approaches their work with positivity and enthusiasm Is a warm and friendly role-model for the pupils.

The successful Teacher would assist in delivering a broad curriculum that not only focuses on the academic achievement of the pupils but also of their social and emotional skills. The pupils of this school progress incredibly well and many go onto the schools sixth form due to the fantastic guidance and support they have received from the school. Your role as a Teacher would be to implement a plan with the for the young person in your class to support them while they learn and develop academically, socially and emotionally. You would make use of standard teaching resources and differentiate your activities to meet the needs of the pupils in your class to promote progress as much as you can. To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience. Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
