If you are a Fully Qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher who is looking to apply your teaching skills and gain experience in an SEN Setting in Northampton, we would love to hear from you!

We work with a variety of Alternative Provisions, Support Centres and SEN schools who could benefit from Teaching staff who can offer a nurturing approach, to small groups of pupils who come from disaffected backgrounds or have various SEND.

You don’t need previous SEN experience; the main qualities we are looking for in our Teaching staff are as follows:

  • Nurturing approach.
  • Caring and calm personality.
  • Supportive and willing to go the extra mile for young people’s education.
  • Able to deal with any behaviour that challenges accordingly.
  • Experienced working in mainstream provisions, delivering 1:1 or small group interventions.
  • Experienced working in SEN units attached to mainstream schools, nurture or inclusion Lead Teachers.

Our schools are broad and varied, offering support to pupils with any of the following SEND:

  • Autism
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Attachment Disorder
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties
  • Hearing Impairments
  • Visual Impairments
  • Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia, Calculia, Dyspraxia)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
