SEN Teacher Opportunities – NE3, Newcastle

We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join a welcoming and supportive school based in the NE3 area of Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Details:

  • Location: NE3, Newcastle
  • Daily Rate: £140 – £190 (dependent on skills and experience)
  • Flexible opportunities available

The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. You will work closely with support staff and other professionals to create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach

Desirable (but not essential):

  • A subject specialism in English, Maths or Science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
