SEN Teacher – Secondary Schools | Liverpool
Location: Knowsley
Position: SEN Teacher

Salary: £160 - £260 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and experienced teacher with a commitment to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Knowsley who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Support students with EHCPs, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD

  • Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external agencies

  • Create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment

  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN

  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
