Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Hull and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time / Temporary (Supply)
Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Hull? We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic educators to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching and support to children with a range of additional needs across local schools.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you’ll:
- 
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with a variety of learning difficulties or disabilities.
 - 
Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and parents to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
 - 
Support students in achieving their full potential, both academically and socially.
 - 
Adapt your teaching style to suit a range of settings — from mainstream schools with specialist provision to dedicated SEN schools.
 - 
Be comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs and moving and handling where required.
 
About You
- 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
 - 
Experience teaching pupils with SEN, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or PMLD.
 - 
Preferably trained or confident in moving and handling and personal care.
 - 
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
 - 
A flexible, positive approach with the ability to adapt to different environments.
 - 
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one before starting the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
