Part-Time SEN Teacher – Children’s Centre | Harrow

Location: Harrow, London
Position: Part-Time SEN Teacher
Setting: Children’s Centre
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a nurturing, creative, and committed Part-Time SEN Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive Children’s Centre in Harrow.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting young children (typically aged 0–5) with a variety of additional needs. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will:

  • Plan and deliver tailored early years educational activities.

  • Support children with communication, cognitive, and sensory needs.

  • Work closely with families to provide advice and strategies.

  • Liaise with external professionals (e.g., speech therapists, educational psychologists).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant Early Years/SEN qualification.

  • Experience working with young children with SEN (especially in an early years setting).

  • Strong understanding of child development and inclusive education.

  • Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
